Crafternoon is a fun and creative monthly class for adults. Classes are instructed by Mia Stendal and will feature a new skill in the arts, crafts, and handwork areas. Registration is preferred but not required. at  Library@PeterboroughNH.gov or stop by the library. Classes held the second Thursday of month. A materials fee of $5 is due at the time of registration. All fees will go directly to offset supplies.

Finger Knitted Necklaces!

Finger knitting is a fun, creative and relaxing activity for all abilities. We’ll learn how to use colorful yarn and our hands to make pretty chains and turn them into attractive winter necklaces.

About the Instructor:

Mia Stendahl is a fiber arts enthusiast and Handwork teacher at the Well School in Peterborough where she teaches knitting, weaving, and hand sewing among other skills. A lifelong love of art, craft, knitting and sewing led her to the costume shop at Keene State College where she studied costume design and construction. Mia grew up in downtown Peterborough where as a teenager she taught herself embroidery out of books at the Peterborough Town Library. Check out some of her work at miastendahl.com.
