October 12th at 3pm

Crafternoon is a fun and creative monthly class for adults. Classes are instructed by Mia Stendal and will feature a new skill in the arts, crafts, and handwork areas. Registration is required at Library@PeterboroughNH.gov or stop by the library. Classes held the second Thursday of month. A materials fee of $5 is due at the time of registration. All fees will go directly to offset supplies.

October 12th: Create your own Zine
We will explore the counterculture world of zines, the handmade magazine movement. Using your own unique knowledge and interests, we’ll use paper, pens, and other art supplies to complete a small 8-page zine. Come equipped with ideas!

November 9th: Winter Lanterns

Winter is coming! The days are getting colder and darker and it’s time to bring some light and color back into our homes. We will use glass jars, tissue paper, and tea lights to create bright, warming centrepieces. If you have a jar you’d like to use, please bring it!

December 14th: Stitched Ornaments
We’re going to get really creative with hand-stitched felt ornaments. You will design and sew your own unique holiday ornaments: cats, pizza, Dala horses, anything!

Mia Stendahl is a fiber arts enthusiast and Handwork teacher at the Well School in Peterborough where she teaches knitting, weaving, and hand sewing among other skills.
