Friday, April 28th – 4pm
Reading a variety of books like Bunny Money, Lemonade in Winter and The Little Red Hen, we’ll talk about different ways of making money and saving money. Piggy banks will be distributed and we’ll get up close and personal with a bag of shredded money from the U.S. Treasury–$10,000.00 in a bag!
People’s United Bank, The River Center and the Peterborough Town Library are excited to announce their collaboration for this April’s Money Smart Week which will run from April 22nd – 29th. Money Smart Week is a national initiative in its seventh year between the American Library Association and the Federal Reserve Bank (Chicago) to provide financial literacy programming for people at all stages of life.
