At this program we’ll showcase the $1,000-worth of books recently added to the Peterborough Town Library as part of the ‘Year of the Book’ yearlong celebration in our town. The Peterborough Elementary School received a $25,000 ‘Year of the Book’ grant from the Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) in Vermont and special programs are being held during the entire school year to celebrate literacy and a love of reading. Gurney will be making presentations at PES throughout the day. Join us for this special celebration at our town library!
