Artist of the Month: Oliver Ward

Home / Adult Programs / Artist of the Month: Oliver Ward

Opening Reception Tuesday, December 19th from 6-8pm

Peterborough resident and ConVal senior, Oliver Ward will be showing photographs taken over the course of his four years at ConVal – photos from his very first photography class all the way to his final portfolio that he put together to apply to colleges. Join us at a reception for Ward on Tuesday, December 19th from 6-8pm.

Ward describes his process for taking a photograph “Perfect composition is not my priority; moments are…focusing on the moment (rather than the rules of composition) helps me get in the zone and take pictures without thinking.” Ward credits his friends and the community of Peterborough as helping him to get to where he is today, from taking his first picture to working towards studying photography in college.

Ward’s photographs will be on display at the Library for the month of December, and will be available to view during regular library hours.
