Mary Hubbard Receives Award!
PTL announced the winner of the Employee of the Year Award on Thursday August 23rd at the Library Trustee meeting. The award was established to recognize an employee who demonstrates leadership, dedication to quality patron service, and a notable achievement in library service to the community. Mary Hubbard, Assistant Director, is this year’s recipient of the award, nominated by the staff. Mary has been a member of the staff for two years and oversees nonfiction collection development, adult programming, and technical literacy curriculum. “Mary has an amazing commitment to our mission to champion literacy and support community connections. Her dedication to quality patron service is very inspiring. She has a talent for caring for people and helping them to find what their good at or what they care about. That’s invaluable for a librarian and a leader.” said Library Director Corinne Chronopoulos. Mary is currently working on a project to expand career development and continued education services at Peterborough Town Library.
