Final workshop:

Wild Edibles on August 15, 6:30-7:30 pm
Foraging is the identification, collection, and eating of herbs and other wild plants. Looking for edible plants reveals the richness of the land and can connect you to a place like nothing else. In this introductory class, you’ll get tips for foraging safely, learn what treats might be growing in your backyard, and some easy ways to enjoy your harvest.

 


Class taught by Jocelyn Duffy, one of the nicest humans on the planet and she has over a decade of experience developing and presenting programs about nature, science, and history for federal, state, and regional organizations. An expert in natural resource management, she enjoys exploring the places where people and the environment come together.

ALL are welcome!! Bring your kids or come alone!
Better yet, come alone and then impress your kids later by casually boiling up some pine needle tea while you whip out a square knot and rattle off your current coordinates. 🙂
