What safety precautions is the library taking?

We have created cleaning protocols and procedures for all library staff and spaces.

All staff and visitors are asked to wear a mask in the temporary library. We also provide hand sanitizer upon entry.

The library has taken the following steps:

  • Completed a detailed cleaning of the temporary library space
  • Creating a schedule for disinfecting frequently used surfaces
  • Obtained adequate stores of disinfectant and hand sanitizer, as well as protective gear for staff

All staff will be wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing while in the building.

In addition, we will be quarantining all returning items for a minimum of 72 hours before returning them to the collection shelves.
