PTL offers something for everyone. Explore our services and let us know what’s missing!
We introduce children to stories, to each other, and to the world. Storytimes cultivate curiosity, build imaginations and bolster early literacy skills. This helps kids grow into lifelong learners. We do this by living and modeling our mantra: ‘Write, talk, read, sing and play EVERY day!’
**Please note: Storytime offered in quarterly blocks. See Event Calendar for exact dates and breaks*
Wednesdays at 10:30am
Babies and their caregivers gather to sing songs, chant nursery rhymes, read board books, enjoy lap bounces and have playtime. Baby story time is for babies from birth to age two and their caregivers, but siblings are always welcome.
Tuesdays at 10:30am
The group enjoys picture books together and simple songs and movement are offered between stories. A craft is created after each story time. All preschoolers who enjoy singing, moving, sitting and listening to stories, and their caregivers, are welcome. This program is recommended for children 2-5 but siblings are also welcome.
Tinker Tales is for kids who are in kindergarten and grade school and their caregivers. We read longer fairy tales and folktales, funny books and longer stories, and work on a hands-on craft or STEAM activity each session. This is a great activity to attend after school and before the weekend hits! Great for both boys and girls Kindergarten through 4th grade– there is always a good mix of ages.
