As part of our Summer Reading–Build a Better World theme, we will offer two sessions of Lego League Fun!
Monday July 24th from 2-3pm
Here is the opportunity for Lego enthusiasts to build a realistic or imagined world. What’s more, Lego play provides tools that develop lateral thinking, and teaches kids to think in three dimensions. It also develops problem-solving, organization and planning by construction, in addition to improving creativity, critical thinking skills, and boosts kids motor development. Come build and create with us!
The library does have the beginnings of a respectable Lego collection. We would, however, welcome Lego donations to continue to grow our Lego programs.
Ages 6-16 are invited to our Lego league building program!
