A beautifully photographed and clearly explained introduction to throwing pottery. While not a replacement for an in-person class from a master potter, this book gives lots of useful hints and is full of inspirational galleries, which even when they aren’t a style the reader might want to try, are unquestionably beautiful.

A good read. Goes into more details on his life as a hunter than some of the other biographies. He killed so many animals….

The adult book club is reading this title for July. Discussion meeting is July 29th at 11am. Pick up a copy at the main desk. Toni Morrison will be awarded the Edward MacDowell Medal during the Medal Day celebration on August 14th, 2016.
Lots of ups and downs and spins. The ending shows strengths despite all the adversity.
