About the Speaker:
Dr. Andrea Woolverton is a farm-kid and Agricultural Economist who founded Twin Engine Coffee in 2013 after serving in the USDA and the United Nations. With her husband, Colin Ganley, she built a model of producing, roasting, and packaging coffee entirely at the source in Nicaragua. Her journey spans the Missouri Bootheel, Italy—where she fell in love with espresso—and Sub-Saharan Africa, where she really began to understand why “made at the source" matters.
Today, Twin Engine’s world-class Nicaraguan coffees reflect Andrea’s passion for quality, sustainability, and connection. Andrea and Colin call both Nicaragua and Peterborough home. Lucille, their daughter, is a 5th grader here at SMS.
