We often feel shut down or cut short; but listening to someone else’s grief and sharing our own is a profound act of self-healing, communal healing, and generational healing.
Good Grief is grief expressed. Explore the difference between primary and secondary grief, the biological and spiritual impulse that informs our grief, and bear witness to each other’s grief. What are you grieving? And how can community help you carry that grief?
Gwir Huddleston Llewellyn will lead this discussion, talking about her own work and experience, and welcoming the community to participate.
About Gwir Huddleston Llewellyn:
Gwir is a poet, meditation teacher and recording artist (see Sat Purkh). She has worked in circles for 20 years as a yoga teacher and trainer. She began studying peacemaking circles with Kay Pranis and the Circle Center in 2021, and completed her apprenticeship in Nine Keys Death Midwifery in 2022.
As a member of the Threshold Care collective in Southern New Hampshire, she serves the sacred work of dying and the inevitable grief that accompanies life and loss.
