The Capital Crime of Witchcraft: What the Primary Sources Tell Us: Tuesday March 7th at 6:30pm

Margo Burns, 10th generation great grand-daughter to Rebecca Nurse, will use primary documents to show the logic behind the court’s actions to condemn the victims of the Salem witch trials.

March is Media Literacy Month at PTL!

Join us as we explore how to navigate the challenges of today’s media landscape and try to answer the question–what does it mean to be media literate?
We have three events planned to begin looking at how media has changed and the impacts it makes on our thinking and decisions.

Upcoming Programs:

Saturday March 18th at 1pm: Fake News: What’s the Real Story?
White House Press Veteran, Randall Mikkelsen, a managing editor at Thomas Reuters, will lead a nonpartisan discussion examining the news landscape.

Thursday, March 23 at 6:30pm: Wait, Wait, Who Told You That??
High School Students will compete and test their expertise as they answer questions from our panel of experts: Rachael Bowman, Librarian at Conval, Ben Conant, Editor of the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript, and Tim Clar, Fact Checker for the Farmer’s Almanac. You won’t want to miss this fun, fast-paced game!
