The Friends

of the Peterborough Town Library

The Friends of the Peterborough Town Library is a non-profit group of devoted supporters of the library. Their primary mission is to raise funds for items and programs that are not included in the library's annual budget. They believe in the importance of supporting and enhancing our library for current and future readers. 

What do the Friends do?

The Friends run the Kyes-Sage bookshop, which is open May- November, 3 days a week, selling good quality used adult and childrens books. The funds raised go towards library services like:

  • Summer Reading Program
  • Children’s special events and programs
  • and any extras that the tax dollar doesn’t cover.

Member dues (tax deductible):

  • Individual Member $20.00
  • Family Member $30.00
  • Life Member $500.00.

Checks should be made payable to the Friends of the Peterborough Town Library.
